Maythil Radhakrishnan (b. 1944) is a Malayalam novelist, poet, essayist, and science writer. He studied Economics at the University of Kerala and later worked in fields ranging from journalism to computing and scientific research, which deeply influenced his writing style.

His works are known for intellectual experimentation, nonlinear narratives, and blending of science, philosophy, and everyday human experience.

Maythil Radhakrishnan’s literary universe attracted interest from filmmakers and documentary creators, especially for his postmodern narrative style and philosophical themes. His works have been studied in relation to cinema theory and postmodern visual storytelling in Kerala.
